Default quick question

im starting a new programme 'stronglift 5x5'.

for a few exercises ie the body strength mostly it stipulates 5xf or 3xf..

im guessing the f is short for fatigue? or (do as many as you possibly can)

can someone clarify, thanks.

I'd guess it means to failure.
