I just got back from Australian Kettlebells, and they are keen to help Max get to the Raw Worlds in September.
Rick has kindly donated a heap of second hand equipment for me to sell, with 100% of the proceeds going towards the trip. Rick has been a very generous supporter of PTC since its inception, and he shows no sign of slowing down. I will pick up the equipment from his warehouse next week. I will take pics and post up accurate descriptions of everything available. I wanted to give you guys a heads up in case you were looking at buying something. |

That's great support from AK.
How do you plan on selling the gear Markos? This is what I would do, just a suggestion: Nothing better than an auction to get some action to support Max. I'd create a list of all items with photo's, descriptions, etc and put it online, maybe a special page on your website. Or, maybe even a forum thread which you can continually update when new bids are put forward. No need to have a deadline on the auction, unless you are running out of time. Just have an undisclosed reserve price which you will be happy to let the item go for (if the item is running hot, you may even want to be sneaky and bump up your reserve ).Once the reserve is hit, let everybody know who the winning bidder was. This will create urgency with interested bidders, not wanting to miss out. Of course there would probably be a few items left over with not so much interest, could probably just take offers on these. Just my opinion from selling alot of gear online through auctions and fixed price. Good luck. |

I'd like to help out those that have supported PTC as well Adrian. They get first bite. The stuff will be cheap. Its out of his showroom gym which no longer operates, so lots of KB's I imagine.
With Blue Gum supplying $2000 worth of hoodies, AK's equipment, 2 comps I have coming up, bench one in a couple of weeks, I should be okay.....just. I will sell anything left on line, but first dibs goes to those that have helped me. I have had clients offer cash donations for Max, I told them I cant take them though, how can I ignore clients like that? |
