Waah, I'll never find out what happens to Noodles, or the lady with attitude, or all those people we met in your PT thread!

That's true.

Like why young men do endless sets of biceps curls, and why young women spend hours on steppers, it shall forever remain a mystery. Just think of it as a popular but cancelled sci-fi show.

That's hardly the only popular but cancelled sci-fi show

But I am a geek, yes. That's why my lifts aren't impressive, my pocket protector gets in the way.

Yeah I am glad to see you are posting again Kyle because I was a little disapointed when I read that you had stopped.

As for the PT thread being too little reward for too much effort, maybe you could keep a journal of your experiences at TAFE and then in the fitness industry and release it as a 'memoirs' some time down the track, because I know I found it to be entertaining reading and I'm sure others here would agree.

Could be a good money spinner.

I'd buy a first edition.

I know it is good to have people in the gym doing what they can for their bodies. But come on, people that are overweight or out of shape are that way because of their sh!t lifestyles. They only have themselves to blame and there is only one way to get back on track, HARD WORK! Giving them comfortable machines and assisting machines is bullsh!t, it is no different to what they have put themselves through. They need to go through the hard work and torture of getting their body back in shape. Then (hopefully) they won't let it go again as they know the work required to get there. From what I can see at my Health Club the people that do all machine work DO NOT CHANGE. They haven't changed in 6 months and won't change in the next 6 months. They are wasting their time and money. Sure diet is probably paying a big part but it is obvious they are not putting in the effort of the people with the good physiques.

I think machines are making workouts softer which in turn is not helping these people at all.
It's even easier to do incline DB's..

Go looking, I added to it, though not really specifically about the school. Still part of my becoming a PT, though.
