Default Head Cold - to train or not?

Woke up yesterday morning with a blocked and runny hose, and a minor headache.

Same thing this morning.

I am due to train tonight, should I proceed or wait it out?

Anyone have any fantastic remedies?

Head cold yep.
Chest cold nup.

A bowl of water from the kettle with a few drops of eucalyptus.
Place a towel over your head and bowel, it is very good.

Keep warm at night and sleep.

And wash your hands regularly.

and even if your not going to have your usual workout, get up and about for a walk to keep the body active, i find i recover quicker if i keep a bit active when im sick.

Dont do anything to increase cortisol i.e hit or heavy training, instead do some star jumps or something...

Basiacally you want movement as this stimulates your lymphatic system.. A teaspoon of vitamin c also wouldnt go astray :P

It always pays to be tuned to the right transmitting station; you never know when your body decides to speak to you.
