Thanks. It's taken me years to master nutrition & work out this 'working out this working out thing'. I've successfully maintained my weight within 500g (without formally recording what i eat) for the last 6 months. I simply know what goes in, what comes out & how much energy I need & burn.

For Trofius:

First photo was taken 20.12.09 and second photo 8.2.10. I had gained 5kg in 6 weeks.

haha I wish! The weight gain is slowing, will have to up the calories more but I really find eating a chore and struggle to eat over about 3400 in a day.

1/2 litre of milk, 3 eggs, 100g skim milk powder.

Gives you 80g protein and 1,000kcal, more or less. Half before, half after the workout. Or before bed or whenever you like. Can be sculled down in thirty seconds, tops.

I get UHT milk for $1.08/lt, tray of 30 eggs for $6, and 1kg skim milk powder for $6. So the drink costs $1.74 to make. Less actually since UHT milk and milk powder are fairly often on special for like $0.80/lt for the milk and $4/kg for the powder, when it's cheap I buy a heap.

Easy and cheap protein and energy.
