Between the milk, eggs and cottage cheese there should be around 50gms or more of protein, why the scoop of whey?

I add a vanilla bulker to my shakes for flavour, carbs and protein are just a bonus.
That would be one THICK shake with 3 cups of oats and 250g of cottage cheese

It's better to have low GI carbs in the morning as well as protein. That's why most people have oats.
