Usually when gaining weight (bulking, call it what you want), you need to be in calorie excess, with an unfortunate part of this being an increase in bodyfat.. A big part of this will down to how many cals you eat / what you eat..
When you say "gain definition" i think you're getting a bit...
Is it an Olympic bar or just a standard?
Olympic will be thicker where you put the plates on and usually weigh 20kg. eg.
or a standard bar which some older gyms use (my gym has these and no olympic bars) which usually weigh about 10kg eg.
I dont want to play in the midfield, probably just in the forward pocket.

Basically, i'm bulking at the moment. I've always wanted to play footy, but always been pretty weak and unfit... I'd like to just play reserves so nothing serious..
At the moment, i reckon i would struggle to do 100m sprint sub 18 seconds lol..

Milks great if your looking to get a lot of calories in and your bulking. Milk also slows down the absorption rate of the protein. Usually when i'm cutting i'll have Protein with water, but when bulking i'll have it with milk!
