    Help with Bench

I am also having major drama's at increasing my bench, though in my case it is due to a previous injury, but I have found that light, high rep DB bench presses, have helped with my stability during the movement, and have therefore helped in a small way with my BP confidence.

    Who is Fadi???

Fadi, You always say "Thank you for your time" or something similar. I do honestly believe that it is I (and many others) that should be thanking you. I don't post much here, but believe me when I say, that your posts (along with Markos' ) have helped me hugely, in my quest to once again be...

[Article] Beginners and Novices: Save your $$$

Getting the body used to the movements (again) is what I am currently doing, more so than stacking on the weights. In BP, I find that if I don't concentrate on the movement fully, then my arms start waving around in the air, like a teeny bopper at a Hanson concert. Same with my squats, my legs...

    Why did you start lifting?

Spare tyre and man boobs were getting beyond a joke. Also had old injuries coming back to haunt me due to strength/muscle loss. Want to get back my old strength (and then some), get some drive behind me again, instead of being tired, making excuses and sitting on my ass. Oh and also would like...

    Help with lowering cholesterol/blood fats

Height is around 175ish and currently hovering around the 85kg mark, scoreless. Cheers for the links guys! Have had a look around, and still doing a little more looking into things, but by the sounds of things so far if i keep up the exercise, and a decent diet the test the doc booked me in for...

    Help with lowering cholesterol/blood fats

I'm not the worlds greatest tinned tuna fan at all. Freshly cooked however is another matter. How I have my eggs isnt really up to me, too much, as I spend most of my time at camp (I work 2 and 1 in a mine up north) so I figured poached would be the best option there. In saying that though...

    Pre workout supps..what to take?

I have been using nano vapor of late. A couple mates swear by it, but I havent found it to be overly useful. Perks me up a little bit, but thats about it. I will be trying NO-Xplode next (decision based on the fact that I was given 3/4 of a bottle/container thingy off a mate)

    Help with lowering cholesterol/blood fats

Well I have just returned from the doctor, and he basically said that my cholesterol/blood fat levels were stupidly high for someone my age. (Near enough to 30) It doesn't really surprise me too much due to my past dietary habbits, or lack of, drinking too much etc etc etc, the surprising bit...

    What magazines do you read

Zoo, Ralph, FHM, Picture and People for work (these mags get around). Street Machine, Perth Street Car, HPI, Zoom.. Basically if it has anything to do with modified/modifying cars I'll buy it, but those stay with me for future reference/ideas. Also heaps of tattoo mags for same reasons (can't...

Getting back into it, how does my plan sound to you guys?

Thanks for the reply's fellas! I did however forget to mention that I am now on week 9 of my little fitness/strength program. For the last 2 weeks I have been trying, as you both alluded too, to stick with the main sorts of exercises, but as I mentioned it can get a little hard, so have had...

Getting back into it, how does my plan sound to you guys?

Hey guys n girls of ausbb, I'm Shane, and after a 10 year hiatus, I have decided to get back into the gym/fitness thing. This was mainly decided due to the fact that the old spare tyre and man boobs are/were starting to get beyond a joke. Also need to strengthen the shoulders due to old sports...
