    2013 comp?

I didn't realise I was out of contention.... And yes, it should definitely be a 12 month comp.

    Jchens Transformation

You are going to have this so easily mate. I didn't realise how fat you were at the beginning of the year. Regardless of whether you have actually gained any LBM or not, cutting from a fat/muscular base always looks impressive.

    Europatan

I used them for MT2. They are good, but VERY expensive, easily double the price of what you'll pay elsewhere. I'm not sure if there is much difference in quality, but even if there was, it wouldn't justify the difference in price. I'm not sure what the price differential for GH peps is, but...

Sounds good! It's stuff like this that I'm looking forward to making when I'm living out of home.

    To much zero coke???

Exactly. If you think it is so bad GROAR, why don't you put up some articles to support your view? I have googled it myself and I think it is safe. You appear to have done your own research and come up with a different conclusion. Rather than mere rhetoric, why don't you show us what you...

    Help with deadlift

Interesting, again, I'll try that out next week. Oddly enough, I am strongest off the floor. Even at 240kgs, I have plenty of speed. Yeah, I very rarely use straps (although I am considering using them if I try for 260kgs in 2 weeks, if I'm feeling confident). I do occasionally use them...

    Help with deadlift

I'm pretty sure I know what you are saying, but a video would still be great if you don't mind doing one :) I'll try to get a new video up next week when I go for the 245kgs. As mentioned though, not sure how I'll go trying a PB with new form...

    Help with deadlift

That sounds about right. The part in bold is pretty much exactly what is happening. I will have to try this next week. My main concern (other than the fact that week 10 of the program is probably not a good time to tweak form) is that with my shoulders tight, I might struggle to have the...

    Help with deadlift

Thanks man Fuck me, steel on concrete touch and go? That must make a hell of a noise lol I don't mind touch and go, but it just doesn't seem great for your lower back (too jarring). I can't imagine doing it steel on concrete!

    Supps in general

Protein is about all you need mate. I use BCAAs as well, but only to help hit my protein for the day and because I like the taste. I sometimes take vitamin C as well.

    Help with deadlift

I posted some videos a while back, see here http://ausbb.com/member-pics-videos/19137-deadlift-form-check-192-5-x-3-a.html I don't think my form would have changed appreciably since then. Obviously they aren't 1 reppers tho, but they were still reasonably close to maximal effort at the time...

    Help with deadlift

Hey guys, I'm having a few issues with my deadlift. Typically, I have had good speed throughout the whole lift with grip at the top being the only problem (i.e. sometimes falls out before I could lock it out). Now however, I am finding as the weight gets heavier (typically comes in around...

    2012 World’s Strongest Man Deadlift

I Know it is 790lbs. But what is special about 790lbs? I mean 800lbs I might understand, but 790 seems a bit odd

Are squats necessary for a bodybuilding competitor?

I'll see how I look at the end of this year and assess from there. I would love to do it just once, but on the same token, it would be very disheartening to step on stage and see all these guys with amazing physiques. I feel like if I can't be the best at my gym, I won't be the best on stage...

Are squats necessary for a bodybuilding competitor?

Incidentally, I did cut weight and gain strength last year. I went from 106kgs to 90kgs and my deadlift, bench and squat all improved. Obviously I'm not at an elite level however, so that probably isn't surprising. But yes, I appreciate that dropping weight for a comp and not losing...

Are squats necessary for a bodybuilding competitor?

I should probably change that to 8%, 5% is probably a bit overambitious lol. I haven't changed my sig in ages. But in any case, it is highly unlikely I'd ever compete as I am extremely critical of myself and I can never see myself having the goods to compete. Plus I have one of the widest...
