Who or what inspired u to start training ?

I used to be very active through teens into early twenties with sport/skateboarding then stopped everything due to work and laziness! Was a pack a day smoker and went from being around 75-80 to 102. Saw my father in and out of hospital all my life with heart attacks and angina issues caused from...

    Best way to log activity

I thought about that, but I like the way an app will do the math for ya and present it nice and easy to read! I'd end up wrecking the book before years end and fill most pages with sweat! my wife already thinks I spend to much time training as it is, imagine trying to explain why the pages of...

    Best way to log activity

I'm also looking for an app for the iPhone to log with, and will allow the data to be easily transferred to my log on here! Was using gym buddy but the data needs changing to much once posted here to remove all times and workout names Does flex allow for this or do you log it here manually ?

More ghetto gym gear by fluffy

Lat pulldown and seated row complete :) Three machines; calf raise/seated shoulder press, hi & low pulley and lat pulldown/seated row. All up cost me $15 for the three different multi gym/weight stacks, and about $10 for a couple of bits for the wires! Everything else was used/altered from...

More ghetto gym gear by fluffy

Took a better pic of the calf raise setup today! Easier to see the bar part! The bar sits on your shoulders in squat position! Very comfortable Got to work on the lat pulldown today too! Just working on adding the seat section, which will also have a low pulley for seated rows! Just have to...

More ghetto gym gear by fluffy

Cheers mate!! I'm just a tight arse and hate parting with cash when I know there are cheaper ways of getting the job done! Plus I probably have too much time on my hands :) I got no more room in the shed so everything else has to be outside so not wasting money on it! Oh, this isnt DIY but I...

More ghetto gym gear by fluffy

Added some more 'ghetto' gear to the collection!! After sourcing around, I picked up an old (fully functional) multi gym thing with 75kg stack for nothing and a York 2001 multi gym with a 70kg stack for $15. I chopped up the multi gym and bolted the stack to the floor and wall at the rear of...
