Fat loss / Muscle loss Running.

Lucky I don't have definition then hence why I'm asking. I'm happy to sacrifice muscle, the question is wether more muscle or more fat will be lost. I'm naturally a thicker build and hold onto fat quite well and bulking is not that much of a problem.

Fat loss / Muscle loss Running.

Quite simple, when I wanted to lose the kilos, I needed running. I hate running but it worked. Now I know with running comes muscle loss but the question I want to ask does one exceed the other. Basically, will fatloss outstrip muscle loss when running?

    Ketonic Diets

So pretty sure my lack of energy and being irratable was due to lack of water. Filled up yesterday and felt like a new man last night. Simple but often forgotten habit I need to keep up with.

    Ketonic Diets

Cheers Oni, I'll look into it. I admit I've been eating more lean meat and Ilike the idea of chops, ribs and chicken wings. I've probably overlooked a very simple thing is that I've not been drinking enough water as well. Will make sure I fill up on the h20 and see how that goes as well.

    Ketonic Diets

MFP had me at 3430 yesterday. I'm consistent with the diet right throughout the week. I also have a very sedentry job and a normal diet at 2500 was helping me gain weight at 40/40/20. With this I had an initial drop in weight but hasnt budged for a couple of weeks. Previosuly I have had to drop...

    Ketonic Diets

I'm finding lately in the late afternoon I'm drained and really edgy, as in little patience. Just feel fatigued and I sit on my arse all day for a job. It's been over a month and I'm still waiting for this energy that I keep hearing about. The scales have pretty much stopped and I'm eating...

    Keto

What experiences have people here have with keto? I've been on it for a month and have finally adapted but have found the workouts have suffered tremendously, especially squats. On the plus side though seems I am able to finally start shedding some fat. The scales haven't moved alot but...

What is the lowest weekly deficit you have cut on?

At 100kg I was taking 2500 and gained weight and strength and is supposedly under maintenance. Frankly, I have a desk job and sit on my arse all day and I retain fat very easy so I found I sropped back to 2000 cals before anything changed at all. 2250 seemed to help me maintain weight and decent...

    Advice of Program

Maybe even starting strength. I put a mate of mine through that who had never trained before and has similar lifts to you now but only weighs 75kg. At 25% body fat, concentrate on the bigger lifts and work to reduce body fat, the accessory exercises will probably be more beneficial when your...

Cut diet and workout help please

Yeah this all came from Myfitness pal. Oats are 2 packets or satchels from Uncle Tobys and I do eat Porter House Steak, usually 2 at a time. I've dropped down to about 2000 cals now and doing more HIIT stuff so see how that goes. I've always been able to put on weight very easily.

Cut diet and workout help please

I've just put on 3kg by eating the same amount of calories. I'm now 104kg and for the life of me can't get the scales to go the other way again. My strength gains are still consistently gaining, taking in the right amount of protein, fats etc and limited carbs. My shirt is getting...
