    Your driver swing and iron / wedge swing is slightly different. Driving is more of a sweeping action hopefully hitting the ball on an up swing and irons / wedges need to feel like you're hitting down on the ball almost squeezing it out. Focussing on hitting down on the ball a little more should...

    The overall distance and shot shape seems pretty good to me. The only thing that seemed a little off was the trajectory of my longer shots. The distance ended up around the same but my drives were these low piercing shots when I usually fly it my total distance. If youve used tracman at all...

    Question, why wouldn't you get some lifters at ptc test this program out? Seems you would have more control over it and remove a few variables that way.

    In joondalup. I think they may only have a facebook page at the moment as they dont have everything up and running yet but theyve got the simulators set up. Its called opti golf.

    This sounds like me. Same thing happened once I got down low. Having more fun now hacking it about once every couple of months or having a bash on a simulator while having a beverage.

    Couldn't agree more. Get clubs fitted to you even when you're just starting out not to develop bad habits (l've got some shocking ones from using clubs way too long for me) and get some lessons... Also practice putting as 3 putt bogeys / pars will make you want to go postal....

    l'd love to see how you'd go with a driver specific for long drives. The shaft length is a little longer at 45-47 inches over the normal 43ish. You'd have a stupidly big arc which wouldn't do great things for consistency but if you ever got a hold of one, holy shit. l dont mind Wembley at all...

    Technique than flexibility than 'power' l think. Having said that my technique is dog shit compared to what it used to be but l can muscle my way out of trouble more often than not when l get stuck every single swing. Where abouts do you play?

    Also if anyone wants to flex their e-penis and say how far they can drive it would be appreciated. Techniques got more to do with it than everything but im curious as to whether a 'trained' lifter can get it out there longer than a half competent golfer.

    Anyone do the old school way of tying a cloth around a plate and biting down on the cloth to use it that way? l've seen people do it in a couple of muay thai gyms.

    Would l be correct in assuming people aren't making a switch over to equiped lifting due to costs or is there more to it than that? l guess anyone can lift raw though so it's more accessible... Probably just answered my own question...

    What`s good about your gym

    l was mainly looking at it so l can train with a mate as well as using a leg press and some cable machines to supplement some training that l miss with just having my rack at home.
