    i think i read that somewhere once (during the 15mins i spent searching the net for the answer) i'll probably only add weight when i stall on my pullups/chinups, or get bored all good :)

    Assisted Chin ups/ Pull ups/ Dips?

    I went from not being able to do 1 good form pullup to 3 sets of 8 (with pretty good dead hangs) in about 3-4 months. I've never used an assistance machine yet. I just started on the bar doing negatives i guess.

    I think the general idea with SS is that as you continue to make increments in the weight your workouts will get to the stage where you WON'T want to do any assistance work afterwards.. Anyone is welcome to correct me if i'm wrong.. :)
