    Force USA Power Rack

Been speaking to Jamie at GymandFitness. The new commercial racks are narrower so looks like I got an old model from the queensland warehouse. Jamie is working on a fix for me, will update once I have sorted.

    Force USA Power Rack

I've just finished putting together a brand new Force USA commercial rack from GymandFitness. Unfortunately it must be an old model as the width is too wide, the outsides of the uprights are 130cm apart, the jhooks stick out another couple of mm. An olympic bar is 132cm between the collars...

    Olympic Lifting in Perth ?

if you'd actually had any contact with some of the crossfit affiliates in Perth you'd realise how stupid your statement is. Some of the Crossfit affliates are very well run, and actually care about strength sports in WA. Crossfit armed in Port Kennedy is a great example with Olympic lifting...

Picking a bench opener when you're a novice

you don't have to be able to triple it, but something you could do on a bad day when feeling tired or sore. Also something you could do with a longer than normal pause. The bar needs to be motionless on your chest, at the last comp I reffed at I got asked why I held a lifter for a while on...

    Aust's greatest ever strength athlete?

Dean Lukin. Only Australian ever to win a gold medal at Weightlifting in the Olympics. Doesn't matter that the games was boycotted by the Eastern Europeans, a Gold in Weightlifting is still far above a gold in swimming or other events where athletes can compete multiple times. Not going to...

Crossfit Armed in Port Kennedy is a good gym for powerlifting or olympic lifting. The guys that run it a very friendly and open and not as cliquey as other crossfit gyms. Probably not what you want for bodybuilding, and not sure how they work for memberships, when I drove down there for the...
