    Advice on Test Prop Cycle

chasingthewinter, I'm in a fairly similar boat to you diet/training wise, and i had been looking at a lot of this stuff in past weeks. from what i gather, the best way to start off is with a test e cycle, running about 500mg/week for around 12 weeks. i suppose you could run you test p and pin...

My exp on keto with clients

i figured someone might the info useful, and, as the original posts remained unanswered, didn't see the harm in posting. better that more answers be found alongside threads with good OPs like this one then people keep starting new threads on the same topic, imo.

    Glycogen depletion and super-compensation Questions

Lyle gives a formula for glycogen depletion in his book about keto, and a recommended workload to achieve it. I guess if you can do the work required to deplete yourself to the point where supercompensation kicks in, then it's worth a go. might i suggest though, that instead of starting your...

My exp on keto with clients

typically you subtract the calories you consume in the form of carbs from those you would usually consume as fat. so in your case, consume 42g less fat on your carb up days. if you REALLY wanted to, you could just have the carbs on top of your usual diet, but it would slow down your weight...

    scam or legit

Does anybody know anyone who has had dealings with the ******* website? I'm a fairly skeptical person and there are things on this page that kinda make me suspicious of them (like extremely poor English in places)...

    improving insulin sensitivity

i doubt that i do, but maximum insulin sensitivity is particularly handy when trying to induce/maintain ketosis as too much insulin can prevent, or make you drop out, of ketosis.

    Keto dieting and amino acids?

it's not really high protein; going much over 0.9g per lb body weight can throw you out of ketosis due to protein being broken down into glucose at around 35% (from memory, could be higher). i will be taking flaxseed oil, a multi and fiber, but as i said i can actually feel a difference in my...

    Keto dieting and amino acids?

I'm currently getting ready to start a keto diet, but after reading Lyle McDonald's "The Ketogenic Diet" I still have a few questions regarding protein & amino acid breakdown. I know that Glutamine can be broken down into glucose if the body needs it, but how much glucose can it yield...

No Bull Supplements- Choc-honeycomb, Vanilla and Strawberry review.

the strawberry is awesome! tastes exactly like masters strawberry milk when added to milk instead of water. the vanilla is pretty good, but i didn't really like the choc honeycomb much, unless it was in milk

    Test Booster Res100

so far i feel like i'm getting a boost from this (and my gf has been extra happy of late) and i'm about 2 weeks in and i didn't see anything about the extra virgin olive oil until today. are there any other dietary recommendations you have for me to help increase the benefits, other then eating...

    what's so special about fruit?

for some reason i seem to see lots of articles where people on cutting diets seem to think it's ok to eat as much fruit as they want, and not include it in their daily calorie limit. is there some property about the absorption of fructose or the way the body uses it that i'm missing? or are...

Why do so many people train on the same stupid split routine?

i find it helps me squeeze out one more rep in most sets, especially since i don't have a training partner. why does it make you cringe? think i'm hitting my chest too much? imo it's a weak area of mine. it's catching up n my next major focus will be my back, but for now, the pecs is where it's...

Why do so many people train on the same stupid split routine?

i guess some people go with push/pull splits to make use of overload principal (although albeit unknowingly). if you can't train with high enough intensity and you want to keep your routines simple, then it's not a bad way to go; remembering that you have to push your muscles hard enough that...

Help with planning a cutting phase

Thanks to Shane and Wizz for the tips :) Dave: i was considering cutting out gluten as part of a carb cycling diet. i probably should have been more specific with that one. it was one idea i was kicking around... and i was looking at creatine for water loading. i figure if i stop supplementing...
