    AAS/PED Misconceptions

That's nice though its an article that references studies and makes its own conclusions rather than a study that shows method and result. It also tellingly states on the first line - although the limited research literature in this area does not yet prove a causal link. This is better imo...

    AAS/PED Misconceptions

I don't recall editing the posts to remove that. In fact I'm pretty sure all the studies I posted all say there was increased aggression to testosterone propionate, not just in mice but also in humans but the important part was even though aggression increased, the social cues and behaviours...

    AAS/PED Misconceptions

I haven't found any studies that contradict. How likely would it be that multiple separate studies all finding similar results would be contradicted by similar studies finding opposing results. Be like two calculators giving different results to the same equation. The studies could be wrong...

    AAS/PED Misconceptions

Your position is anti-steroid because you're insisting steroids have negative effects even though that insistence is at odds with the evidence. I see steroids as a medicine, I inject them for several reasons, because I enjoy not having my test drop off year by year and I like the way it helps...

    AAS/PED Misconceptions

Well I don't believe it exists but the medical definition specifies psychosis "A severe mental disorder, with or without organic damage, characterized by derangement of personality and loss ofcontact with reality and causing deterioration of normal social functioning."...

No need to get personal m8. If you can control yourself like you said you did even though you wanted to smash someone then its not rage. Rage is an absence of control.

Some of the meds Munzer took prior to death (besides steroids): ephedrine aspirin clenbuterol valium captagon-- scheduled 1 drug in the US, meaning no legitimate medical use-- it is an amphetamine-type stimulant-- cytomel aldactone lasix insulin

It doesn't matter what I think. Opinions and assholes and all that. Evidence or gtfo.

    AAS/PED Misconceptions

Calm down. Proviron is an oral steroid and its not toxic because its not 17-alpha-alkylated. Besides I clearly added the end of the "liver damage" in my original post "(injectables)" to avoid the annoyance of this part of the liver damage argument. You're clearly incorrect, deal with it.

    AAS/PED Misconceptions

Oral steroids usually contain an ester that is liver toxic on the 17 alpha position of the molecule. The steroid itself without the ester is completely harmless and would be broken down by the liver without the ester. Mesterolone is a common non 17 alpha steroid and is not liver toxic. So the...

    AAS/PED Misconceptions

There was no suggestion made that AAS don't have an effect on blood lipids. Individual bloods don't prove anything other than acting as individual markers. The only way to prove something is to scientifically test, that means using a control group against a group being administered AAS...

    AAS/PED Misconceptions

Yeah I see the contradictions in the results of the study and the common understandings in the BB community around use of trenbalone. Nah I realise painkillers are very bad for the liver, overdose can cause fatal liver damage. If its in a properly controlled study the results are likely...

    AAS/PED Misconceptions

I'm not trying to get into an argument with you but blood work on your liver doesn't prove trenbalone cause your liver values to worsen. All it proves is something you were doing or something your body was doing between your bloods had a negative effect on your liver. Would you believe that...

    AAS/PED Misconceptions

I don't think you can say "Liver damage is real as are impacts on myocardial function" without providing evidence. 17 alpha based steroids like Dbol do cause liver damage but its not the steroid itself its the molecule attached to allow the steroid to survive the pass through the liver that...

Bodybuilder destroyed by steroids and HGH

Same, reminds me of when I was younger :) Which is pretty normal afaik. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0016648098970630 Troll through google scholar and you'll find tons of studies that show the same thing. Both testosterone, oestrogens compete for the androgen receptor...

Fair enough. I see misconceptions as opinion where research shows evidence which is contrary to that opinion.

    Compoud or Split

I'm at the gym 6 days a week since I work there. So I can easily afford to do a 6 day 2 muscles per workout high intensity split while if I was working in my old job doing security nights I would probably be doing a moderate 3 or 4 day split. IMO the main thing is to retrain every muscle you...

    AAS/PED Misconceptions

    - "roid rage" - Liver damage (injectables) - prostate cancer - cardiac disease Pretty much the ones I think where research shows otherwise but still claimed by anti-steroid groups as fact.
