I'm pretty sure Scott is going to become a Garage reseller.
Yeah I know the Pendlays are bloody thick! The tolerances are very impressive though, +/- 10g!
Bumpers or just plates? How much?
Any timeline or prices on when you think you'll start selling the Garage bumpers?
For anyone reading, the Pendlay V2 economy bumpers are 90mm thick for the 25/20kg's, I suppose it wouldn't matter much for me as I'd only be using for the power/ olympic lifts...
Cheers mate, good post, I've been through the first 30 pages of a Google search, but haven't came up with much extra.
The Pendlay plates seem to be well priced.
G'day, there hasn't been any review of what bumpers recently, just wondered what's out there that's recommended.
Also what's available in Sydney, the Ironedge pack costs about $165 to post to me.
thanks,
Yeah, Grays are dodgy (sometimes they charge you commision on commision!), I'm going to get a pair to see if there any good.
I tell you what though there are some 10mm leather belts in some of these auctions that are good and go off cheap.
Apparently there fake/ copies, that's why Grays doesn't advertise them as Ivanko's anymore, here's a post from a previous buyer:

Big thanks to Chris for your work on Saturday.
For those considering the workshops or one on one training, I did both on Saturday and both are great value so just do it, the workshop was good as I knew my mobility in my right leg was holding me back from squating propally so I'll stop for a...
I'd be keen to come in as well, but I live a fair distance away, so if I could get a hand with a few different lifts on the one day it'd be handy.
I'd also have to take you up on picking me up from Lidcombe station Moons, I'm legally blind.

Yeah, I wouldn't say 5/3/1 is the best for a novice or elite lifter.
I enjoy it and lift for enjoyment more than anything else and the only person I'll compete is myself. :)
mate I had an older version of this rack and it was pretty sturdy.
It didn't move too much, I did chins at 125kg, 140kg squats and had around 200kg for rack pulls.
The older version was pretty solid made of 3x2"
Jump on it quick for that price.
