    the missus hates how much time i spend at the gym but enjoys the results so she deals with it, i would prefer if she came with me or trained as well though..

    As mentioned previously, Australian cricket does nothing for me these days. Its hard to get excited when you know whats going to happen, they need to put more emphasis on development rather than just relying on 1 or maybe 2 players to hold the team up.

    Hit 130kg squat x 3 today, after 4 sets at 100kg decided to see how far I could push myself. Not huge numbers compared to most of the guys here but I'm pretty happy with it.

    Wrestling Shoes

    One of my mates wears wrestling shoes (high top flat sole things) they look pretty sweet but would it be worth getting a pair. I'm guessing it would be similar to training bare foot, which i have heard of people doing. Does it make that much of a difference?

    How do you go training chest and back in the same day? I used to do it but I felt like I wasnt able to push myself hard enough.

    They have one at one of my local anytimes, i actually really like the support it gives. Although I do feel like a bit of flog when I use it

    Yeah I was extremly suprised by that, didnt see a whole lot of the game. I reckon it would have wrecked just about every multi placed this weekend, if not someone will be cashed up next week

    Hard gainer supplement

    I consider myself a hard gainer and I have been using Musashi BULK for the last 3 months or so and managed to put on a reasonable amount of weight (5-6kgs) It tastes pretty good and its fairly cheap Hit up Chemist Warehouse, they have the 2.28kg tubs for $65 or there abouts

    Maintenance Calories

    I'm a bit the same as you Big Mick, havent really tried to hit specific macros just eat whenever Im hungry until Ím full. Thinking about starting to watch my calories a bit more, seemed to have gotten stuck at 80kg

    - Brad - 22 - Male - North East Victoria - 9 months - Lifting Joined mainly beacause I was bored at work and thought it might be useful to find more information/likeminded people Main goals at this stage are to reach 90kg by the end of the year (currently 80kg) and I guess just learn more

    Do you enjoy your occupation?

    I work in a hotel, mainly reception and managing the restaurant. Pretty good most of the time but it can get bloody boring (especially on night shift) Theres only so much trawling of the internet one can do before you start to go a bit loopy
