Favourite equipment/gear?
well one of the welded pins broke off this recently, and now I no longer trust any of the welds on it. I could probably get a mate to re weld it for me, but I am thinking it might be time to retire it and buy a solid power rack. RIP- robxxx

Adjustable Dumbbells
You really can't go past the ironmasters in my opinion. Unless you have to budget and space for individual dumbells As solid as I need, quick to change, easy to caclulate how much you have/need on. The only cons for me are that some people might care that they are measured in pounds not kilos...- robxxx

My favourite piece of equipment is my squat rack. It's a home made job that I bought from the local classifieds for $100. I will eventually have to sell it to upgrade to a proper power rack, but it has given me something to squat with so I am stoked. Things like this don't come up in canberra...- robxxx

After reading every post in this thread I am still no closer to choosing a good quality barbell. At this stage my numbers are quite low ie 100/70/130 so a high quality bar isn't essential. However my secondhand dirt cheap oly bar has a end bolt that loosens after every set and has almost no...- robxxx

I am also really interested to read the best prices people have been able to get their ABC power bars for. I am in the market to replace my current cheapy as it's end bolts don't stay tightened and it could potentially lead to injury. But of course, I am looking to pay less rather than more...- robxxx
