A lchild's stool or primary school chair (front of the chair is about a hands witdth below your kneecap).
When I was having hip and hamstring problems I used to squat down to a chair borrowed/stole from a year 6 classroom. I would just brush it but while I was injured it seemed to keep me...
Chest - Flyes - cable crossovers - pec dec - give a bit of a pump but I'm unconvinced they build any muscle
Back (upper) - lat pulldowns - same as flyes
Shoulders - front and side raises - rear ones seem to be ok as its kinda hard to work that rear delt, but you'd be better pressing than the...
Truth is there are few really good 'players' who are simply born that way. But its near impossible make it at the top level without good genetics.
NFL is a great example of this. In order to get a look you need to have been born with speed and coordination. They do everything from measure the...
The Washington Redskins won 3 super bowls using HIT training. In fact, it was all the rage in college and pro Football Training for a long time. I personally found it sucked balls but but there are a lot of huge Nfl players that would say otherwise.
Lol. I own a power rack from a site like that. Tbh its not as bad as guys are making out, i've had mine for 8 years, but I'd spend an extra 200 and get a better rack.
Believe what you want. Zen is a really knowledgable guy re execise science.
From personal experience, I don't really feel foam rolling is a good warm up.
Is it good for prehab and rehab. Fuck yes.
The guy is really more into sports medicine and science than golf. If he was just some golf dude I would ignore him. And works with all sorts of Athletes. I would prefer so eone who has researched it over internet Broscience.
If you prefer broscience. I was doing tons of roam rolling as a...
LC2 Power Rack + 140KG Olympic Weight Set + Flat bench | | Cyberfit Gym Equipment
Seems like a better package.
Can do all your basics out of that. Squat, dead, stiff leg dead, lunge, bench, rows, curls, etc
Foam roller - good for your hips
Rubber bands - great for shoulder prehab
Tbh if you do 10 min of simple calestenics every morning it will work out a lot of kinks and you will never have doms. Eg 1 star jumps or mountain climbers 2 push up variation 3 lunge variation 4 sit up variation 5 band...
I used to love bench dips and then one day they just seemed to start causing sholder issues out of the blue. Still them, normal dips and French curls top my list.
I never really found slow reps, forced reps or negatives to do much for me. The thing about grindy slow reps building slow twitch fibers must be why.
To get good intensity I usually do a rest/pause set on my main lift and have started to do what Tnation calls stacking on my big assistance...
Selkow has a pull up progression that works
10 sets of 1
10 sets of 2
8 sets of 3
7 sets of 4
6 sets of 5
5 sets of 6...
And so forth. Keep the total reps in the 24-30 ballpark. Do 3x per week.
Note this is for people who can only do 1 or 2 reps. The first few cycles should go really fast...
Then why bother to reply?
I replied to the thread, which asked what I did, and then you jump in and want to argue Semantics of what Wendler or Carter do. In the programs they design and sell, they advocate sub max training, that is what I do.
I don't see why you feel the need to try and...
I don't give a rats ass what other people do or don't do. I know what works for me and submax training is working awesome. I follow Carter's Blog, mostly cause I think he is kinda funny, and don't see too many failed sets. His real work are some big ass back off sets.
Like Big Mick I leave a...
I rate it high enough to do myself but don't think it is necessary.
Its made it into my program as one of 6 exercises I do, so it has benefits. But I don't realy rate it that high. I really feel I could replace it if I had more equipment.
