Aerobic and Resistance training - Do them Apart?

Funny enough, in 'Defranco's Built like a Bad Ass'manual he called for some briefe but hard aerobic work after weights... skipping, 1 mile run, weight complex. I had a few friends who used to swear by running a mile after a session. Being over 40 a good weight session just wipes me out...

LC2 Power Rack + 180KG Olympic Weight Set + Flat/Incline bench | | Cyberfit Gym Equipment I believe cyberfit is in sydney (seven hills) and some blokes from the forum have had good luck buying from them. Gymdirect is in Carringbah and is a favourite on this forum too.

    Beginner's equipment

Tbh I don't think you will need anything more than a cyberfit or gymdirect package. For 2k you can easily squeeze in a pully for various rows and the dipping attatchment. I would negotiate out some extra weights. 6-8 20's, 2 10's, 2 5's, 2 2.5's, 2 1.25's. And upgrade beyond their basic bar...

If you only could do ONE exercise for each muscle, what would that be?

And his response was the big 4 or 5 cover everything. I thought it was pretty clear what he meant. And when I look at the workouts of big guys they generally spend 90% of their gym time on those sorts of exercises. When I see small guys in a gym they are generelly flushing their tris and...

If you only could do ONE exercise for each muscle, what would that be?

I am voting with Big Mick. The big 4 are all a guy really needs. Squats, Rows, Bench, Deads, Press Secondary Sld, chins The big 4 cover everything but the other 2 are nice if you want a little focus on arms, back or hammies. A lot of the guys in your videos can't bench for shit. Had they...

    Half rack or full rack?

HD2 Half Rack with Chinup Bar and Spotter Bars | HD2 | Cyberfit Gym Equipment I have a full rack but would love to replace it with one of these. The extra room in front would help in a single car garage.

Strength training. What to do on off days?

Suggest bodyweight training. Make up a little circuit of 10 exercises. 20-30 reps. Run through it once or twice. Try to do it as fast as possible.

Cube Method beta test + Brandon Lily drug advice!

Always found a nice carry over from incline to bench. It has a bigger range of motion and if your incline goes up you find it alot easier at the bottom of your bench.

    Advice on Squats

When I squat I focus on squatting down so that my nipples drop down behind my knees, just behind where the teardrop connects to the knee area, and push the knees apart. Never squatted so deep or so pain free.

    Ideas for Mon-Tue-Wed-Thu program

Used a program like this when I played football. Actual program went mon, tues, thurs, fri, but never found it mattered if you did a workout on a different day. Mon - bench, incline, press, rows Tues - squat, sl deadlift, lunges, rows Wed - same as monday but 2 sets Fri -same as tuesday but 2...

An under rated and untalked about, and maybe the most important factor in growth, is motivation and longevity. If you find your motivation dropping, try a different workout. Beats getting bummed then taking a workout off, then a week, then 6 months...

    Dan Green article

My point is that their physiques come from doing reps, just like a bodybuilder. In doing their cleans they may at times do 50-100+ reps of front squats. which builds the physique in the picture. Gpp training can definitely help get a person lean.
