How Important to sleep is weight loss & Gain

I can function pretty easily on 4-5, however if i'm working out hard or have a low cal diet/day then it takes it's toll just ask the GF :P but there's such a huge difference between "functioning" and living.

How Important to sleep is weight loss & Gain

Yeah Good point Repacked I've felt dead for the last week or so because i've been staying up till 12 and waking up at about 7:30-8pm but i guess being on a low cal diet would also effect that. Just trying to get the most out of training and my body etc so might be time to start fixing my...

How Important to sleep is weight loss & Gain

Hi All, Pretty easy one here but wondering how important everyone considers sleep to weight loss and gain. I know guys that sleep 6 hours a day and still get fine progress yet I know others that do the same and show nothing this goes both ways with loss and gain! Any thoughts ?

    Training in morning/day or night?

Would this not be effected by sleep & eating patterns ? if i wake up at 4:00am every day i don't see why working out at 8:00am would be an issue ? PS: Not that i do wake up at 4:00am because screw that.

    Training in morning/day or night?

I don't believe there's an "optimal" time to work out in regards to day/night more so in regards to circadian rhythm, fuel and drive. I'm sure one of the other guys will chime in with a more "technical" answer though!

    The PB Thread

The routine i'm on is fairly strength based, just came back of an abdominal wall tear (not a hernia) and had my third knee recon in september last year so i've been trying to take it easy, never done dead lifts in my life. Considering going into power lifting to give it a whirl!

    The PB Thread

So my younger brother and one of my mates attempted to do a 120kg deadlift for one rep. So i felt the need to test out how far I've come so far. They both hit it once....so i hit 120kgx5 @ 80 Kg, pretty happy with myself i know it's not much compared to some of the other numbers but i've only...

Would be more concerned with servicing costs etc on top of the initial purchase most of the M5's seem to sit at around 40k for which you can buy a brand new SSV lol, each to their own i bet it's a killer car regardless.

Steroid users, any regrets? Non-users, what would sway you?

This is some awesome insight man! I've never really been that interested in steroids as i don't feel the need to push my body in that way, i'm happy doing things naturally and happy with my progess. but seeing the views of people that have tried things like this and knowing their experiences...

Steroid users, any regrets? Non-users, what would sway you?

lol telling someone it's a stupid choice is completely different to having a go at them and shaming them on a forum. If you think it's a bad choice tell him that and then explain why don't just tell him "that's stupid your stupid i don't do it you shouldn't do it" you gave no advice, no level...

Steroid users, any regrets? Non-users, what would sway you?

Pull your head out mate, EMO types ? i'm pretty sure no matter what stereotype you fit into nobody likes being judged and ridiculed for their choices. Does him taking steroids effect you in anyway ? is he competing in a competition you are and stealing your glory ? No So why the need to attack...
