    Thread for religious people

“No one in this world, so far as I know — and I have searched the records for years, and employed agents to help me — has ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the great masses of the plain people. Nor has anyone ever lost public office thereby.” —H.L. Mencken

No, belief is belief, no matter what the religion. THATS the point. I'm not having a go at you here. Just pointing out that your belief is no more "true" than anyone else's. If you step back and look at your belief in the "scientific method" (probably the term "evolutionary belief" is more...

    5/3/1 Wendler

Because 5/3/1 is, according to the average gym bro: Too easy at the start. Too hard in the middle. Eats your ego and shits it out at the end. Doesn't have enough "volume". Is too simple, needs more variety. Doesn't give you a pump. Isn't used by Insta bros. It works if it's done according to...

Happy to be of help. Actually, you don't have a "lack of faith". That's the point.

    P.A., G.P.C. and CAPO differences?

It was all true, except for the canon bit. It was a giant catapult. It was all inferred by him in many posts and it took a member (or a few, I don't quite remember the exact number, more than one) who had to ask him point blank if he was on the APU board as he spoke as if he were at the...

    Australian Powerlifting Union thread

Second announcement (thank you Stiffy and Gerry for your tireless support) is that the APU Perth Open will be held on Sunday 12th May 2019 with tickets sale on 1 February 2019. Any APU member can compete, but since it's cheaper to fly to NZ, I doubt that any but local members will be competing...

    Australian Powerlifting Union thread

Since I, as part of the new APU rat pack, have been authorised to now run the APU thread, I would like to start by thanking my two fellow board members, Stiffy and Gerry, for their inspiration and ongoing fellowship. That out of the way, I would like to announce that Western Australia, long...

    Carnivore diet.

I think that's why it's so successful. It's easy to stick to due to variety and satiation. Plus it cuts out all the crap (probably the most important factor in a successful diet) and there is no whiney excuse or need for a "cheat" meal.
