wow! must be an acquired taste then. Certainly will email Mick, bit concerned about how quickly I'm going to get through it if it's just sitting there though!! Also I saw this on ozbargain (geronimo's jerky) but it still seems to be more expensive than $60/kg even after 35% off! Geronimo...

    Government knows best for health!

Serious? I had 2 eggs this morning for breakfast. Guess the rest of my meals ought to be vegetarian then! Cos that'd be reallllly healthy...

    beef jerky

How long does it take you to get through 1kg? This jerky sounds drool-a-licious but buying 1 whole kg seems like a lot!

Does anyone in syd train at Shire Speed & Strength?

I was there for a bit, but now I'm preggers, so training less intensely. Coach Peter was always so helpful though, really knew his stuff. We need more places like this in Sydney - after all Sydney is a massive city and Caringbah is not always that close. (Took me about 40 mins one way to get there!)

Well it was a pretty poor way of spamming redbak, if it was! Fair point though - remember you guys can flag any suspicious posts using the triangular red icon on the left anytime for the mods to look at. As for this one, it's harmless enough (and somehow I don't think it's spam since it's so...

I'm guessing that the poster wanted to ask: whey or redbak - What's a better sup? But that's a bit confusing to me as whey is a generic product and redbak is a brand.

    Knee pain after jogging

Hmm, if it doesn't get better after resting you should see a physio, they probably know a bit more than GPs about the specific problem.

    Advice regarding supplements

Sorry I don't have any experience with the last 2 products you mentioned, but others on the forum will probably chip in with their two cents so I'll let them comment. As for my avatar.... grrr... one of the other mods changed it to that as a joke! that reminds me, I ought to change it back :D

    Plain Rice

I use white rice, I find this a pleasantly satisfying dish because the sauce from the baked beans goes with the rice quite well. I concur that sounds a bit weird, but then again I have never had creamed rice despite being a rice eater all my life. And as for cocoa???! Wow... interesting!

    Excellent Protein Snack

Sorry in advance for such an unhelpful post, but...... whatever fits you best. Go to a store like Mountain Designs, or Mountain Equipment, and get the people to help you. It should fit snugly around the toes, sides, and heels, without hurting. If the shop is good they usually have a bouldering...

    Excellent Protein Snack

Haha, I guess I'll find out soon :) if it gets too troublesome I could use natty peanut butter as the consistency is a lot runnier. Drooling over making this already!

    Excellent Protein Snack

Wow, I've got to try this - have too many jars of peanut butter in the pantry :) Only question is though, peanut better generally has quite a solid consistency... does it soften up enough when you mix it with the banana etc?
