    Help needed!

Hi all, Just wanted to update with how my training is going. I was training consistently last year until December, pretty happy with my strength level. Then I went to Thailand for a holiday.... took a couple of months break from training (although I did rockclimb in Thailand which was pretty...

    Best bulk suppliment

Protein Direct works out fairly economically if you don't mind your protein plain, and if you get through a lot of it (just google it)

    deep tissue massages

I miss Thailand. You could get excellent Thai massages for 120 Baht (that's $4 AUD!) Shame they're so expensive in Australia. Foam rolling works out more economically if you need a cheaper alternative to massages.

thanks to everyone who has posted, keep them coming. don't forget to add the location of the ebay listing in your post, because usually these listings (especially power racks etc) are pick-up only, I believe?

What's your favourite place to buy supplements?

I reckon we should give SuperCut the benefit of the doubt here, people often post discount codes on websites (eg. ozbargain) to help others save some money?

Post up what you are eating

Welcome danco, can I suggest that you start our own training thread? You can still log your eating on there :) but it allows people to follow your progress closer rather than comments getting lost on the "what are you eating" thread! :D

How to increase vertical jump & agility? - (For basketball)

Interesting posts, Silverback. What advantage do you mean, specifically? All I can see are the disadvantages - my head height being at their elbow height... ouchy! Probably going to take the rest of the day off work today, suspect I'm mildly concussed.

How to increase vertical jump & agility? - (For basketball)

Great post, bumping this thread back up as it has got so much useful info for the bball players out there. Apart from increasing my vertical jump, I'd like to know how NOT to get pummelled in basketball.... I play mixed basketball and often have to play against 6 ft beefcakes. Today was the...

    help with diet for missus

re: the whole scoop of whey before training, that's up to her. I don't think the difference between a 1/2 scoop and 1 scoop is that much in the long run. What matters is consistency - consistently eating about 30 grams of protein 5-6 times a day, consistently training with HEAVY weights, etc etc...

muscle and broken bones / dissociations

completely agree with you :D I just wanted to point out that most guys probably don't even train properly by doing all those compound exercises. Back on topic - gtrb26dett - if you love your job then keep at it, but I don't think there's much you can do to prevent broken bones except managing...

muscle and broken bones / dissociations

Haha, if we trained the same as most guys we'd be forever doing bench presses and bicep curls :D (yes I know I selectively edited your post, and I thoroughly agree that girls should not be afraid to squat/deadlift/clean etc) Anyway, silverback, good to have you with us, looking forward to...
