    Muscle Motion Standard or Commercial

I use the GHR at least twice a week atm :P I agree with buying a quality product. I just think that 'standard' racks can be quality to. At the end of the day, either rack will last longer than you do. If you prefer the commercial, the additional upfront cost will amount to fuck all over the...

    Muscle Motion Standard or Commercial

If I had to choose between the two I would probably get the standard and spend the savings on more/better equipment (eg upgrade the barbell, get more weight, get a GHR etc). That's just me, though :D

    Muscle Motion Standard or Commercial

I've regularly squat ~180-200 for reps out of the muscle motion basic rack, no issues. I also use the commercial one (as the gym has both). No issues with either really. The commercial is more solid because it weighs 200 odd kg, but there's no dramas with the regular rack. I have a powertec...

    Lifting platform

If you're just going to deadlift you could just throw down some rubber mats. The wooden centre is mainly for grip when doing Olympic lifts.

    Sydney MEAT LOVERS!!!

Is there somewhere in particular you order from? A google search for cryovac sydney wasn't very helpful. Edit: Wait is this just a way to package the food for freezing?

    Sydney MEAT LOVERS!!!

Might have to try this Pendle Hill place. Have been thinking about bulk ordering meat for a while, would need to buy a freezer for it though.

    Iron Edge Iron Cage

Isn't that the R3? They sell that on the Aus site. I'd still prefer the depth of the R4 though.

Why lift heavy, when you could just lift light?

It says all subjects had no training experience for at least 12 months prior to the study.

Why lift heavy, when you could just lift light?

Subjects had no previous lifting experience. First thing when reading a study is to ensure the subject population applies to the population you are trying to apply the study to - in this case I would imagine most people on a bodybuilding forum have been lifting a while. I doubt the conclusion...

Good stretches for upper body 2 compliment benching/miltiaries

Bands will stretch to let you get past a sticking point, whereas the broomstick won't so if you're too narrow and inflexible it will just not move further. I use both, usually the broomstick though. A lacross ball to massage out the chest/anterior delt area is good to.

    Setting up home gym

Why not just use the money you would have spent on the leg press to buy more weight? Second hand weight is reasonably cheap.

    Setting up home gym

The only other comment I'd have is more weights. At least another 100kg. If you have somewhere to use it, get a prowler to - great for conditioning that doesn't make you sore the next day.

    Setting up home gym

I use the GHR a lot more (I barely use the reverse hyper at all tbh), but many people don't have the strength to use it at all straight away. If you can try both out before buying I'd recommend doing that

    Setting up home gym

I find it hard to believe a GHR costs more (let alone significantly more) than a reverse hyper. But no, you can't do reverse hypers on a GHR. You can, however, do GHRs! :D

Legality of training training without cert 3/4?

You don't need qualifications, personal training is an unregulated industry. But you will find it hard/impossible to get insurance without any, and it only takes one lawsuit to put you in the hole for life.

    Iron Edge Iron Cage

Like the matrix, it is ridiculously overpriced imo. Like 4x what I would pay for a high end rack. I understand that crossfit gyms will pay for the matrix, I don't know who will buy this when you can get a sturdy second hand rack for a couple hundred dollars max.
