    Some advice would be great

Rogue rack has better J hooks, better hole spacing for bench press, bolts to the ground, and imo looks better. We have a muscle motion commercial rack at PTC, nothing wrong with it. It's nice and roomy for squatting. I think the J hooks would be a pain for bench press, but you can always...

    Some advice would be great

They are expensive, yes. Thus the 'money no object' list. I have neither, as I am a poor uni student.

    Some advice would be great

If I was setting up a home gym, money no object, I would get the following: Rogue R4 power rack, bolted to the floor: ROGUE R-4 POWER RACK - Rogue Fitness Australia ABC BOP220 Barbell: Australian Barbell Company | If you wanted bumper plates I'd go with the Pendlay Elites...

    Iron Edge Iron Cage

The Rogue R4 rack would be my ideal, personally. ROGUE R-4 POWER RACK - Rogue Fitness Australia It's about $1000 too pricey, though. I don't quite understand the point of matrixes and this iron cage thing. A sturdy, simple rack is perfect (for me).

    old injury

I've trained a few clients who were coming off recent back injuries. They all felt better after training. Keep your technique on point and leave your ego at the door and you'll be fine. A strong back is a healthy back.

    I'm a novice. How do I rate?

The GPC push/pull is on in around a month at PTC Sydney. Can do single lift bench/deadlift or both as far as I'm aware. You have to be a GPC member to compete, though.

When should you wear a belt?

I don't think anyone has suggested that lifting with poor form is anything but silly. The McGill article makes many references to occupational/therapeutic belt use and this is not applicable to strength training. As regards strength training the article states: "There is no question that...

When should you wear a belt?

The belt doesn't lift it for you. Greater stimulus has the potential to lead to greater progress. This is a perfectly reasonable perspective. If you have no interest in using a belt or don't believe it will assist you in reaching your goals, there is no need to use one.

    Knee sleeves

If you bought your Titan sleeves within Aus contact Minh (the Titan rep for Australia) and get him to refund/replace. I got a pair of the dodgy batch and after much hounding got a refund. I am real happy with my Rehbands.

    MMPR vs HD4 cyber market

My rack is the older version, but those are the handles. For weighted dips always use them inside the rack... otherwise it will tip :D

    MMPR vs HD4 cyber market

Doesn't need to be standalone. My powertec rack came with angled dip handles that you slot in same as jhooks - works great (I prefer them to the standalone piece at PTC, but Deb uses my rack at her practise now)

    MMPR vs HD4 cyber market

I use the commercial muscle motion rack a decent amount at PTC. It's grown on me (I used to hate the J hooks). I've never seen anyone move it, even reracking big squats. I dislike the dip attachment thing as the handles are not angled.

When should you wear a belt?

I didn't get a belt until I had squatted 180. I did the full smolov program beltless (save for 1RM attempts). I train without the belt in general. I also have only just started doing ab stuff, I hit my 240kg squat having not done ab work ever (apart from heavy squats/deads etc). All this is...
