Although... i tend to use a bike for cardio at the gym, and i own and use a real bike :) .. the bike is just particularly low impact. - i wouldn't go there JUST to use the bike though generally... (I do use my exercise bike at home to do some low speed steady state cardio watching TV though as...

the commercial power rack looks great, especially with the width issue addressed... seriously thinking i might get one of these instead of the welded cyberfit i was considering (yes i know i don't lift much weight, i just like solid things) when i buy my place.

    Ironmaster quick lock dumbbells

You will need decent space on both sides to make it easier to get to the plates which will speed your changes. but they are pretty compact. I think they are the best adjustables around really at the moment, PowerBlocks are quicker to adjust, but you have to have your hand inside them, which...

    The PB Thread

Managed 190x1 Deadlift PB today (mixed grip) .. then failed 200kg (bit dizzy), then tried 190kg again, failed and almost passed out. Also got what i think was a rep PB at 65kg x 4 OHP

    Ironmaster quick lock dumbbells

Much better than spinlocks as they stay locked on and have a flat end for setting them on your thighs as you get them into place for benching. Not slow to change, but not ultra speedy either, particularly...

    Chin-up goals

Basic fitness is 10 chinups? .. thats a big ask for most people over perhaps 90kg, achievable, but i wouldn't call that basic.

    Grip Strength

about 170kg is approaching my deadlift limit for double overhand grip and I have closed the 1.5 but not the 2. I consider my grip to be pretty poor. I'd argue it's improved most from deadlifting itself though so far.

    Box Squats

seems to meet what T-Nation etc describe as a box squat.... place box behind, place barbell on back, sit on box?
