Good riddance. Pretty lackluster event, even though the sweeps by Sheilds were impressive, I am a Maia fanboy (that brutal nose squirting crank/submission), really wanted to see him challenge for the title. FOTN went to the ladies on TUF for me.

Your Opinions on Rep Ranges in Strength Training

If you are stuck, then the problem is not rep ranges but your periodisation or your recovery or both. Everything else being equal, sets of 5 have been shown to be the most effective rep range for strength gains.

    Squat program

I'm doing TM now, its challenging but effective. Every week add 2.5kg to all days. The idea is you do enough volume monday to drive a new PR on friday, wed is just about getting the blood flowing / active recovery type stuff. Once you get in the swing of things, you can possibly try and...

    What's Your Pre-Workout Ritual?

If it involves a heavy squat session (so almost always), get nervous about it all day. Will try to eat some extra carbs, usually fruit in the afternoon or 1/2 hour before heading to the gym. Also I ensure that lunch is huge and loaded with protein.

    Weaker on one side.

The recommended approach I've heard before from coaches I respect is to back off a few kg as you suggest, your body will sort itself out in short order. FWIW this approach worked out great for me after both a quad and shoulder injury.

Jones vs Gus was fucking amazing, edge of your seat stuff for 25min. I wanted Gus to win so bad, but agreed with the decision on reflection. It was all about that elbow in the 4th. I kinda hope they dont do the immediate rematch, give Gus a top 10 victim then match the rematch.

    Bar-bell bench press

My thoughts were just a process of elimination, most people suggest close grip = more of a tricep exercise, so I figured inversly you got more chest involvement with a moderate or wider grip.

    Bar-bell bench press

I'm guessing they are saying a greater range of motion of the narrow grip makes it a better exercise. Which is probably true, assuming the weight you can move is the same as with a moderate or wide grip, which is not the case since with a moderate or wide grip you are able to get your chest more...
