    Imo you can't really say your strong if you can lift X amount, or if you lift X times your body weight.

    I don't see how pressing outside the rack is dangerous? I always do my military press and push press outside my rack (its not tall enough inside). I'v done 1rep maxes, failed reps etc never had a problem. As for the foot stance it would just make it easier to stay stable/less core work.

    What do I prefer? Powerlifting and overall strength training. Why, because for me setting new PB deadlifts are more fun and more useful then posing and wishing my triceps were bigger.

    I'd be in if I was in Perth. Maybe every 3 weeks is a bit too much though, or you could alternate normal lifting comps (SQ-BP-DL) and strongman stuff like the tyres.

    Imo you get out what your put in, both in the gym and deit/sleep/lifestyle. If you put in little effort into your training, no matter what your doing you won't ever get big gains whether its strength or size. Same goes for the other factors outside the gym, which is imo where so many people...

    Imo military is much more then just a shoulders exercise. Does your shoulders (ofc), triceps, core etc

    Buying Chains for garage gym

    Dam i'm wanting to get some chains to use at home as well. I was thinking of a cheaper way, get some cheap/2nd hand small weight plates (0.5kg-2.5kg) and some rope. Tie them along the rope, should work the same way as chains? As you lower it down more rope and plates touch the ground etc.

    I don't do a 'shoulders day' since i'm a real man :p but the closest thing would be my military press day, has worked a treat even though I don't train for size etc.

    Only 3 for me lol If you have a secret bench press secret that involves chicken nuggets. -I always eat nuggets for lunch. If the toughest day of your week is your rest day(s). -Yep always get bored If you eat before you go out to eat. -Done that a few times
