    I normally still feel fine after upper body training, ie bench press and military press. But squats and deadlifts are a lot more taxing.

    Looking at your lifts I'd say sticking to a linear program would be good and easy enough. Did 80kg last week, do 82.5kg this week etc. If you can only do 3 days a week do SS or PTC Beginners program. On the topic of 531, I think it is a good program if you make some changes to suit you...

    Still don't under stand why you think the Eleiko bar is better? Just because it has different/normal ring markings? Also I would only get chrome plated 50kg's, the other makes it harder to tell the weight of a bar. Can't tell if they are 20kg's or 25kg's.

    I used one at the CAPO QLD States last year, I didn't mind the different ring markings. As far as I know they cost the same as Eleiko, so not much difference.

    What / who compromises your program?

    Very rarely do things get in the way of my training. I'd say because I like to plan things out in advance. However the main thing that compromises my training would be injuries.
