    2 annoying questions

I take eating at maintenance to include your physical activity to a degreee - won't be an exact sciene but pretty close. Its not like we are on obeseanonymous.com here, we are all working out and that should be factored into your eating.

    2 annoying questions

    1. Do you eat a lot of fibre in the morning for breakfast? 2. Eating at maintenance will keep you the same (ie maintaining). You wanna shed BF, you need to eat below maintenance (ie in deficiet) but maintain your protein intake on the higher side and keep lifting heavy. If you do it slowly...

2.5 months into training, few Qs

Why?? 2g of protein per lb of bodyweight is the old school standard, which is 4.5g per kg.......personally I reckon its a bit too much and I work to 1.5 x LBM which I have found is equally effective for me. But you cant argue with the results people have had over the years eating 2g/lb.

    Tinned Tuna

I've been intentionally eating tuna with high levels of mercury. I figure that Mercury is about 14g/cubic centimetre, so by ingesting large quantities of mercury with my tuna, I'm guessing that my muscle weight will increase proportionally. Good times.

    advising friends against steriods.

Tell your friend to forget steroids, they are so 90's. Synthol is all the rage for fuller, beastly looking muscles and so much safer than roids and with way less work. BOOM - check out the cannons.

    Shake with water or milk?

For me, ingesting a high quality protien and powder mixability in a shaker are in order of importance 1 and 2 - taste for me is very low in importance. Mix it in water, man up and chug it down. You are drinking it to feed your muscles, not have a tasty "milkshake" like drink. JMO.....

    Training In Perth

How old are you and what kind of work you looking for? The above gym is good, but not so great if you live miles away north of the river! So it will depend on where you live in the end I guess. In general the transport system here is pretty ordinary unless you live on the train line corridor...

    Shake with water or milk?

For scrambled eggs, try 3 egg whites and 1 whole egg. For shakes, unless you are bulking and need the calories, use water rather than milk.

    Ab Workout?

Abs are 97% diet, so make sure that is in check before you worry about what program to do. No point doing the exercise if you dont get the bodyfat down - "generally" speaking its 10% or lower to get a visible 6 pack. And fwiw, I find ab ripper x to be a good ab workout.

    STFU i want guns...

Against conventional wisdom, pre-exhaust your triceps before doing any bicep work. The tri is a bigger muscle and has 3 heads compared to the bicep which is smaller and only has 2 heads. Bigger tri's will give your arm a fuller and rounded appearance.

How to adjust a relatively clean diet

Me personally I would ditch the olives and potatoes and eat mainly greens - broccoli, beans, asparagus, peas etc (anything leafy and fibrous). And since you don't list any fruit, I'd also try and add in some avacado, an excellent fruit with low fructose and some great fats - it ticks a number of...

    another diet help thread

you sure do like your milk......clearly no lactose problems! Maybe try like a cup or two of cottage cheese before bed as an alternative to the milk. And maybe add in a glass or 2 of low sodium V8 vegetable juice also instead of chowing more vegetables - not ideal but it is convienient.
