Barbell Squat : the Worst Exercise in Existence?
Have a read of this article. It's hilarious.
Cliffs:
1) Apparently our skeletal spine isnt designed to take load
2) bar is loaded a long way from intended muscle group (legs)
3) The stronger you get, the more you load the bar and therefore the...

for now my max is (only bodyweight): 9 reps, 7 reps, 5 reps, 5 reps
so should I wait and try to add reps each workout till I get all 10, 10, 10, 10 and then start to adding weight and get sth like 10, 9, 8, 7 and next...

Following on from the post on how many people take steroids, may as well do a unanimous poll.
Have you ever taken steroids to improve performance, increase muscle mass or any other similar benefit?
Just wanted to know if any of you guys have used this for a cut?
My friend has got some in and I wanted to know what your experiences are with this?
I have heard about side effects, I am still unsure if I should buy some off him.
Please no dickheads telling me steroids are are for weak small...
Thought i might spy on some of the competition here, and ask what you think gets you the best results in reguards to performance in your styles.
e.g body weight training, strength training etc.
cheers.
Sometimes I like to mix this up, if my target for an exercise is say 15' I will start at 15 and work back, or I might break it into into fives, occasionally when I'm on the last five I'll break it down to ones.
I do whatever I can.
Breaking into fives works quite well for 20 reppers. Along...

Hey all,
I hope someone can help me by providing the name of a particular movie.
I remember that it was about an evil Kickboxer who has a signature move of jumping in the air and clapping the opponents head with both legs.
The good guy who I thought was play by JCVD trained with some guy in a...
Hi guys,
For 3 years I trained light, then heavier, then heaviest.
Eg. Bench 60kg/10 reps, 70kg/8 reps, 80kg/4 reps.
Recently I flipped it: 80kg/6 reps, 70kg/8 reps., 60kg rep till fail.
I find it much better as you are able to lift the heavy weight straight away as your muscles are not...
