my personal experience has been that lifting weights makes one more arrogant and prideful.

Adding gentle yoga stretches and relaxation techniques to my gym training has immensely helped to keep my anger and pride in check.

but sometimes it's hard to hold your anger and you just burst out. i think it's part of the healing process. listening to uplifting trance, soft instrumental music, self improvement books, attending psychology classes have helped me heaps to calm myself.
