Such an awesome comp, so much experience and strength in one double garage. Ive lifting my goals after hitting 5 PBs at the comp. Aiming for 700kg total by January
I have been deadlifting for about 4 sessions in total, started on 100kg and made it to 140kg then stopped? Got a funny feeling behind my left knee after squats and gave up and haven't done ANY leg work since.
At least we agree on NS.com, da hektic flutterz are king brot3k!
Edit: the 266kg deadlift guy looked like he did it with ease! tell him to man up and hit 300kg
Edit2: Wasn't that only 1/2 a deadlift, he just dropped the bar?
i wouldnt be dissing NS.com, the average knowledge of people in the weightlifting section there is a lot higher than i have experienced in my short time here so far.
but yeh, every other section of the website is questionable.

haha fair enough, have to agree with that.
i should also not that the forum here is a lot less hostile.
both still great forums though, its good to see so many like minded lifters.
Tech forums are a great source of info, if you go into the general sort forums then its sh1t but the specialised stuff (tech, fitness, sound etc) are all pretty decent.
I loved watching that video! Reggie was very cute too.
When is the next comp after AD10? I'd love to come to one in 2010, but Australia Day is right after my O/S holidays so I won't be able to train for it that well.
