Gym Direct has gone the extra mile and employed qualified engineers specialising in metallurgy to perform in house testing of our most popular products.

Our warehouse was converted into a test lab for a few days with over 30 tonne of weight being lugged around for testing purposes. All products were loaded to levels well within the capacity of the product, nothing came even close to failure, and the results were extremely impressive to say the least.

I saw those, but I'd like to see dynamic testing.

For example, drop a loaded bar onto the safeties on a squat rack and see what happens.

As mentioned in my last comment this is only the beginning! We are testing more equipment VERY soon using different methods. ( Yes drop tests woohoo ;) )

P.S Product ratings testing is usually done by the manufacturing companies (not the suppliers like us), most of our equipment tested is home grade to light commercial - only a few commercial pieces!
So we really have no need to test it to that level BUT to prove how study our equipment is, we are going the extra mile to do this.
