The question is..

If dmaa is made a cat 9 substance, will you even be allowed to have it in your pocession.

If you test positive to meth amphetamines on a road side or employment drug test, you won't be able to get cleared on the grounds it a legally purchased product...because it will be illeagal to have!

Something to think about ;)

"Conclusion: We report for the first time that acute ingestion of 1,3-dimethylamylamine alone and in combination with caffeine results in an increase in SBP, DBP, and RPP without an increase in HR. The largest increase is observed at 60 minutes post-ingestion of C + G 75 mg. These changes cannot be explained by circulating plasma norepinephrine and epinephrene."

DMAA is fucking stupid anyway. The study shows (The one Jack3d themselves link to to qualify to being "university tested") that the researchers have no clue whatsoever as to what DMAA does and they concluded was taking DMAA put more stress on your heart by completely avoiding the normal mechanisms that cause stress on your heart. In another study it didn't even enhance performance:
>Effect of Caffeine and 1,3-Dimethylamylamine on Exercise Performance and Blood Markers of Lipolysis and Oxidative Stress in Trained Men and Women | Abstract

Just stick to l-tyrosine

So I'm assuming they're taking it off the shelves at stores?

I don't usually mess with pre-workout but perhaps I should stock up on some...

It hasn't been banned yet, but there is little doubt it will be.

Check my post here for details about the TGA proposing to make DMAA a schedule 9 prohibited substance. also included is a link to the poisons standard

Look for good deals as sellers prep to sell stock quick. Sporty's health were straight out with an email today claiming reduced jack3d prices. I don't buy the stuff so don't know how much of a discount it was.

This is gonna be a huge boost in sales for jack3d and all the other DMAA pre workouts. Everyone is going out and buying a lifetime supply of the shit.

If you have that much need for pre workout stims seriously just have some caffeine. Does anyone really believe that taking jack3d is going to have any significant long term benefit over caffeine or even stim free workouts to make it worth while.

If I was to start with the whole pre-workout thing I think I'd still not go and buy a cupboards worth of jack3d. More likely I'd buy a couple of the ingredients that places like bulk nutrients and no bull sell and see if that did anything (apart from make me puke, damn a lot of these things the body apparently likes taste bad... bcaa's for example).

This (as I've been saying). L-tyrosine and as much caffeine as needed = profits (both mentally and in the back pocket).

bcaas don't have to taste bad. I get plain instantised BCAAs and in water they just taste like slightly mineralised water. Almost nothing.
the Ajinimoto ones are the best. If you're going to take them at all.

i can't imagine taking Jack3D....gimme a strong espresso over that rubbish any day :)

I have know idea what's in it.

But if a lifting hobbyist needs a stimulant to workout they have issues.
