I have a question for the gents...

You meet girl, go on date, have a great time, share some kissies at the end, tell her you want to see her again soon.

You text her everyday. Call a couple of times to say hello. You're busy with work & you have a kid you have each afternoon of the week. So time is an issue for you & you've explained that. You vaguely hint at catching up over the weekend but fail to lock anything in.

A) He's just not that into her?
B) He likes her & will follow through?
C) He's keeping her hanging while he possibly explores other options?

Please explain?

Isn't it as simple as, 'if you like her, you lock that baby down for a second date?' To me its simple. But I have a feeling life aint so black & white for some? And my advice would then be considered harsh? lol
 
lol My gf asked me this on the phone this evening. I don't fckn know what it means?? I gave her the above options & told her I hope he locks something in soon though!

But I dunno. To me its pretty simple? But then, I'm not a lad, I have no idea whats going on in his head! lol

But I think its odd he hasn't locked the biatch down for another date? So either he's REALLY fckn busy, he's not THAT into her or he's keeping his options open? I don't know the answer. She seemed to think I would!! But I do not :/

She's 42, he's 45. Surely at those ages people aren't still playing 'the game'? I guess they do though...

I'm 36 & I'm tired of it. If life is still going to be like that at 42 or 45, I'm going to surrender now & wave the white flag lol
 
It's all case by case isn't it? If someone explained to me that time was an issue, the last thing I'd be doing them is uber-hassling them to get a free time... especially early on.

There could be some simple confusion here too. We all know that what a woman thinks she says is different from what a man often hears So her being busy may have come across different?

For all we know this guy is posting in another forum saying "she's texting me so I think she's interested, but at the same time she's telling me time is an issue, so maybe she's not really keen after all. So is it a case of:

Fark its been so long since I went on a date & even longer since I had a date with anyone I actually wanted to see again...I cannot remember lol

EDIT: Stews I see your point! I remember she told me after their first dare that he had said to her that getting free time was an issue for him. I reminded her of this earlier this evening. And quite frankly, if he wasn't interested at all, I guess he wouldn't bother texting or calling right?

If it were me (even though that obviously isn't my circumstance), the explanation would be B. If the option were A, then I wouldn't have been kissing her at the end of the date, and I certainly wouldn't have given the whole "I had fun last night, we should do that again some time" deal. If it were option C, there wouldn't have been a date in the first place...perhaps it's just my uni student budget (both for time and money) speaking, but I'm not going to take a girl out, devote my time, energy and resources to entertaining her and building a connection unless I'm already pretty keen on her.

But as you know, that's me, and my attitudes towards dating/relationships/sex etc are seldom conventional.
