Hey everyone (and especially @jzpowahz),

I'd heard rumours about this but found out today that there is a new protein supplement/food ingredient made from oats that will be available. I believe it's a protein powder.
Not just high in protein but also a rich source of beta-glucans.

LOL this could change the PROATS landscape in future. Doubt we'll get it here in Oz. Why are we on the non-distribution list for so many cool things????

This is the think to the Swedish company that developed it:

wow, although it has wheat so no go pour moi LOL

we do have lupin bread available from a company in WA that makes it.
that's high protein, although it uses a high protein flour instead of powder.

I have a few friends who swear by it. They love it.
I bought some lupin flour to muck around and see if I can make my own.

Here's the link:

of course, none of this has anything to do with the thread ... :)

I can't see any nutritional facts for this proatein?

And yes, it does suck that we get left out a lot!

How to make protein bagel: Get normal bagel + meat. Done :)

could just make your own savoury porridge

oats and bacon go well together
My old man introduced me to bacon porridge when I was a little kid.
Probably comes from his family being from Aberdeen

Oats + PB&CO heat is on + bacon = WINNING COMBO!

I also do oats + bacon + banana + maple PB + sf maple syrup = ELVIS oats :D

Damn it, just made myself hungry again.

I love how this thread started with a new development in oat derived protein supplements and shot through quickly to BACON.

it always comes down to the bacon :D:D
