Seated Calf Raise

I'm gonna have a go at building one of these with a mate in the coming weeks.

Looks simple enough (most gym equipment is, really). Has anyone built one of these before, or does anyone have one and can take a few simple measurements for me please?

Good Luck mate.

I just use a barbell across the thighs with a towel underneath.
Search the net for some schematics and diagrams.

I've had a bit of a look around the net, but can't seem to find any diagrams or plans. I've found a guy on another site though who is gonna take some measurements for me so I have a rough idea of things; shouldn't be too hard I don't think.

I used to do one legged standing raises, but it got a bit silly when I had weights hanging off a weight belt and I had to hold a plate in one hand and balance on the fence with another. Thought I'd just build a calf raise and be done with it!

I'll post up pics/plans etc when I'm done.

im building one of these soon aswell. chuck up some dimensions if/when you do it. mine should be done in a couple of weeks.
