THEY’VE already got an Eiffel Tower replica and a fake version of Venice ... but THIS is the Mount Everest of Las Vegas.
Welcome to BaseCamp, a larger-than-life rock climbing park with the world’s tallest artificial climbing wall, at a staggering 50 metres.
The massive wall is built into the side of the Whitney Peak Hotel in Reno, Nevada, not far from Sin City itself.

At the newly revamped BaseCamp park, brave souls will scale the side of the hotel on their choice of colour-coded foothold tracks. When they reach the top, they’ll enjoy views of the snow-topped Sierra Nevada Mountains — similar to the view on a real rock summit.
Those too fearful for the hotel’s outdoor rock wall will have a 650 square metre indoor bouldering park to explore.
The new BaseCamp makes its grand opening on Saturday, along with the rest of the Whitney Peak Hotel. Harness up, climbers!
