how about I couldn't give a toss as an option.
Some people don't care either way like me.
As a spectator KungFooGoo would like to see the best human’s science and engineering has to offer going at it.
It is an opinion. Then don't vote?
The poll is for ppl that do have an opinion lol
Basically, how do you know if a new record is an improvement due to a better athlete, or simply an improvement in the drugs or technology?
It is an opinion.
Your poll is silly because PED's have medicinal uses for diseases etc.
are diet and training techniques considered technology?
That's a good point, you can't 100% know anymore in this day and age... Maybe he was on gas, maybe he wasn't... Maybe it's the suit he wore that made him swim faster ( pretty sure swimming disregarded quite a few world records because they thought the suits gave too much of an advantage, Where’s the line on that though? If it takes .01 seconds off your time its okay but if it starts taking off .5 seconds then it illegal? It's all bullshit.)
.... Just realised KungFooGoo can't really articulate what he's trying to say so i'll leave it at that...
And I'd be curious to see how much smaller everyone would be. I reckon big/cut guys would be a rare sight...
Personally in terms of stuff like olympics, it would be far more impressive if everyone was on a level playing field.
ie Barefoot for running. Or just speedos for swimming.
Bet you wouldn't see records get broken very often. And when you DID, you'd know you just witnessed something special.
Agree with that, KungFooGoo really does "but" it would get to that point if they did allow PED's openly in sports. e.g Bolt run the 100 in... say sub 9 seconds while using PED's and that record stands for a while because even on PED's nobody can hit that number then some guy 10-15 years later breaks that record... It would be equally impressive l would think and you'd be seeing a faster athlete.
Ah but that is just the point.
In 10-15 years, technology has improved further. Better drugs, better shoes etc.
How do you know he got beat, or they just got better drugs???
