Gpc world championships 2012

lol why are people crying over questioning the deadlift numbers of the 82.5kg category
i didn't say it was funny at all, just that it was odd

I don't understand all the records and stuff with different feds etc...so 201/132.5/201 is a world record? The way I would interpret that is that nobody else in the 82.5kg class, on planet earth can beat that?
Not being silly just would like to learn a bit more about all these records that seem to get thrown around??

Records exist for weight and age categories.

Here are the GPC Australian Records.

Records

World records are posted on the GPC World site.

And no, Dan broke existing records, he didnt simply post a record.

Dans WR's are GPC sub-master records.
That means in our fed, nobody in the 82.5kg class between the ages of 33-39 has done more than that.

The open records, which means any age would be around 250/170/300 at a guess in the 82's.

Thats right, the GPC open world record in the 82s for the squat is 250.5kg

Haha me with a squat record? Hell will freeze over before that happens.
Ben Frenchy is the squat machine.

Russia just entered their team, that makes 439 competitors.

Ukrain, Montenegro and more from argentina still to enter.... Could end up close to 500!
