    Help me pick a bench.....

Ok I think I have put together a shortlist of three benches that I am considering. Things I have considered with the bench choices..... 1. Fully heavy duty for daily use in the studio 2. Needs to be portable 3. Needs to be adjustable for at least flat and incline (I have a seated upright...

    Help me pick a bench.....

Thanks for the input. bench height is pretty important as I`m a short arse and the wife is even smaller. I`ve tried a 50cm height bench (iron master) and couldn't get on with it sadly.

    Help me pick a bench.....

FINAL THREE SHORTLISTED....please read last post...... Currently the wife and I have a Powertec utility bench. It`s served us well but we need something stronger. It needs to be flat/incline but not bothered about decline. It needs to be solid so looking at semi-commercial at the least...

Next back machine for the home gym....

I used to use one of those pullover machines in my gym in the UK. Was awesome and hit the back very nicely.

Next back machine for the home gym....

Some food for thought there. I have an injury that gets aggravated with T-Bar rows so they are a no no for me sadly. This is to go into our studio (which people pay to train in) so machines are a popular choice, in addition to the basics.

Next back machine for the home gym....

I`m hoping very soon that the wife will give the approval for the next item in our gym. I am after something for the back. I already have a cybex lat pulldown and a hyper extension and now I am torn between the following two..... A supported row....Row Machine | Calibre Fitness Or a supported...

    Which power rack better?

I second this. It`s expensive but you will never need another rack again. I have owned and used one at our studio for a couple of years now and it takes daily abuse. Never once have I felt unsafe with it. The spotting arms on it are really long so there is a massive safety area for any failed...

Girl Takes Testosterone For One Full Year…Turns Herself Into A Man!

Interesting watch. We really are a product of simple chemical interactions. Fair play to going through with it. Must be a nightmare for people who are stuck in the wrong body.

Which last peices of equipment to get

Looks really nice but it`s a shame it has the issues you have outlined. They have heavily discounted it on the website now by the looks of it. Have they been fair to deal with? Whats next on the list of items? For me it`s likely to be a seated row/supported row machine.

    The PB Thread

No video evidence or anything but I managed to dumbbell press the 60`s at Anytime Fitness yesterday. Got 4 deep reps on my own. On the 5th my left arm wouldn't lockout so I left it there. I was rather pleased to say the least with myself. :-) The wife also recently did 27.5s flat DB press...

    Wheywhip.....and guar gum issues....

G`day all. Has anyone here tried wheywhip ice-cream. It`s an isolate ice-cream with about 25g protein per sever and very little carbs and sugars. I scoffed one last night and thought to myself that it had a kind of chewing gum consistency. Anyway, I woke up this morning at about midnight...

Which last peices of equipment to get

From the ones I have used before they allow for better isolation in terms of one arm not compensating for the other which is good for ironing out muscle imbalances.

    Show us your Home Gym

Nice pick up with the Spinner. They are nice bikes and I used one exclusively for my cardio when I competed. They work well, are easy to maintain and don`t take up much space.

Which last peices of equipment to get

I picked up my seated calf which as far as I know and can see/feel is commercial for about $550 which is the same price as the body solid one I believe. There is a pic on the show your home gym thread if it helps.
