How to - tricep training, by Rippetoe

lol No I think you've probably been doing them right mate, as long as you weren't kipping. The long head of the tri wont contribute much when doing pullups, even less with chins. The only thing I didn't like was Ripp saying it's ok to be "out of control" of the movement. I think some could...

    Spoto and Efferding Raw Benching

Thanks Sam, definitely better quality than the nosebleed shot from the video I saw haha It's going to be one hell of meet. There are a fair few guys that'll pull 800lbs+ and I think 4 over 850lbs (385kg).

    Help with deadlift

Yeah a vid would be good. When you say 75% I'm guessing you mean an inch or two above the knee? Like Sticky said hows your upper back/lat strength? Matt Kroc used to have problems at the top part of the lift then he added his infamous high rep rows into his program and by all accounts...

    need advice on cutting

^^ 6 meals a day? what? It would aid in his cut if he could do it properly, and then eat all his calories within the window alotted for the day which I would think to be doubtful. If you don't know what you're doing it's just the lazy mans approach to dieting. "It's ok I dont have to eat this...

I want to buy from Inzer... shipping costs...

If you're really stuck on an Inzer then grab one from the House of Pain website, shipping is $40 if you dont mind waiting a while (25+days) But I'd just get one from Underground Elite, plenty of different belts available and in Brisbane. Underground Elite :: Gym Accessories :: Belts

    need advice on cutting

Firstly, intermittent fasting, you don't need it. Forget you've ever heard about it. Second, how tall are you? How long did you "bulk" for? If you're taller than 5"8 then 65kg is still small.

Fluffy crosses to the darkside for a bit.

I wouldnt personally do dips if there was issues with the shoulder. Can put the shoulder in a bad position at the bottom ROM where there is a decreased amount of subacromial space which can lead to impingement. Same with close grip upright rows. Top gymnasts are on the extreme side of the bell...

    Good Incline bench recommendation.

I bought the Super FID bench from Gym Direct and I'm pretty happy with that. When its flat theres minimal gap between seat and backrest so your ass doesnt sit it in. Also wheels to move easily and weighs around 40kg. I bought the ham curl/leg ext attachment for it but it just doesnt feel right...

    Slingshot review

I've got a Reactive (blue) and Original (red) slingshot. I barely use the original. The blue slingshot gets a little pop off the chest, a lot more pliable and easy to get on. A few friends have them too and I found they threw it on too early and never utilize full range raw work until I called...

    Power Racks

Yeah I did, but the actual rack itself is 1290mm wide so even with the offset hooks the plates bumping into the rack would annoy me. I went through 2 Olympic bars before deciding on the custom. It was only an extra $50 for the custom bar than the normal bar and materials needed for the hooks. Im...

    Assistance programming

So I ask for an answer from Goosey yet you respond to this post yet ignore the others. Interesting. You totally can't trust what this guy says he was a multi-ply lifter with a 1000lb squat. None of his info will carry over into raw assistance work.

    September Challenge

The type of restistance training that is completed will determine the rate of protein synthesis not just some blanketed timeframe. The rate of protein degradation is a function of the rate of protein catabolism and mechanical work performed. So if the the resistance is near maximal but fewer...

    Power Racks

Hi mate, I have the Force rack and went throught the same thought process as you and I went with the force ONLY for the band pegs. If you dont do any band work then get the MMPR. The other reason I suggest the MMPR is the Force rack is ridiculously wide, you're lucky to get 10mm between the J...
