365 Strong

it will be terrible
you'll read it and think your life has changed forever and feel empowered
but in reality nothing will change
 
I agree with Brandon in terms of, I train to be strong in general/all the time - not for a specific date. When competing though, you need to do everything you can to make sure that on the day you're at your best.

In terms of the new book 365 Strong, I don't feel it has much different information than the original (especially not for $40). But there are extras you get with it that might be worth the money.
 
Its a good laid out program IMO that gives results, but fuck this is coming from a 75kg dude who struggles to squat 100kg for reps haha, but what ive read others do get good results, i done many of 5/3/1 cycles and my results are not as near as good as a 6 week t nation cycle, (HP mass) to be specific, lotssss of tripples all lifts went up at least 10kg plus
