Alcohol?!?!?

For the most part, I agree, I haven't watched a single game all year, but it's a yearly tradition for me and my mates to go to Crown Casino and watch the grand final.

Gayfl should be banned from tv.

Lol reminds me of a Sydney footy trip.

30 blokes go into pub

Person in bar: were you guys from

Me: Just on footy trip

Person: rugby

Me: Na AFL

Person: oh GayFL

I think I heard that 1000 times over those 3 days and every one thought they were the funniest person on earth. Was a bloody good footy trip though.

Mick, are you serious? Sure you can keep the cals in check, but what about the toxin that is alcohol. You want that shit running through your body.
Fuck that shit.

Well This has been a thread worth while starting, some nice feed back here, I admire you guys who can live without having a drink, I was brought up and worked most of my life in a strong drinking culture.

I worked with guys who would drink half a case of beer a day whilst at work, and I am currently in a job where there is a strong after work drinking culture where people write themselves off regularly.

Luck I am not into that any more now, and I must say I feel better for it and starting to look better as well.

But on the other side I still love to have a drink, and love the feeling of being intoxicated by alcohol to a certain degree, it seems to lift my mood, it's very relaxing, and makes for fun social times in my personal opinion.

I am currently at the start of my cutting up get ripped for summer and my Thailand holiday routine. So I am on Fadi's 'lose fat maintain muscle' program, (weights and HIIT) along with a 2000 per day calorie diet.

So I have decided to do some research for those of us who still like a drink on the odd occasion, but are also on a calorie restricted diet.

Here are some drinks that can easily be incorporated into any calorie controlled diet:

Jim Beam pre mix can 375ml = 265 calories

Jim Beam Zero pre mix 375ml = 67 calories (Not a bad choice really)

Pure Blonde Premium Lager 1 Bottle 355ml = 107 calories

Tooheys Extra dry 375ml = 145 calories

Mate if your cutting dont drink....pretty simple....who gives a shit about how many cals are in the drinks....if your really wanting to cut dont drink...and if you want to dont waste your time and effort trying to cut...

....who gives a shit about how many cals are in the drinks....

I would have thought the answer to this would have been obvious:confused:

Anyway, each to their own I guess, but if your overall calories are in deficit (or within the desired range 2000 calories per day in my case) I can not see how it would affect cutting/weight loss.

Bullshit.

Cutting is easily possible while drinking

There is no reason why it has to be one or the other.

I'm sick of debating alcohol..

And Bazza if you were really serious about cutting you wouldn't drink.

Im saying who gives a shit about the cals coz u shouldnt be drinking at all while cutting...so the thought shouldnt even come into your head.

If your trying to fit alcohol into your daily calories while cutting then you have set yourself up for failure before you start.

Ppl on this forum really need to step it up if they wanna look any good.

Alcohol is just calories. Give us some actual reasons why if it fits into your calories why drinking and cutting will not work.
