BNRG Proto Whey

Headley

BigRed Kunce
Hey guys, i need some help as to what may be in my bucket of "Whey"...

It is labeled as: "BNRG proto Whey 100% pure hydrolysed Whey protein" in a chocolate flavour.

Ingredients on the back are:
Protein: 54g
total fat: 10.8g
total carbs: 10.8
with sugars being 5.4g
Sodium: 540 mg
cholesterol: 94 mg
fibre: 8.1g

All per 100g serving

i have been reading some info on the NBS testing thread and it seems like this is a bucket of powdered milk... anyone able to tell me if that may be the case without a testing kit?

If it only has 54gms/100 of protein then it is filled with fillers.

WPC is about 80/100 and WPI around 90/100.

Just Googled it.

"BNRG Proto Whey is naturally low in carbohydrates, fat and total calories ... The proprietary SoftPsil fiber and generous portion of MCTs in Proto Whey further ensures its best in class absorption and its role in enhancing gut health and efficiency."

So it might not be meant to be a straight up whey, so possibly unfair to can it for its lower protein %... or it could be marketing spin for an inferior product...
