I have seen dudes without shorts, just the tights, leaves nothing to the imagination, srs nut hugging!

YESSS! But functionally speaking, for running and flights, great and 2XU have a great fit, look HOT on gals, and last forever. Love them.

For weights and recovery post weight training, not so much. Foam roller. :)
 
Im fine for you ladies you go without shorts or just leggings

but if your a bloke please chuck some shorts over the top.
there are a few guys at my gym who wear just skins

When I have a groin or quad strain I wear my winter cycling legs. They seem to help, but they keto sliding down, when I am not seated...
 
i wear compression shorts during soccer mainly to prevent grass burn.

from my experiences they do 'marginally' improve recovery when used correctly

i think for a lot of people they won't notice any difference and its probably due to incorrect fitting garments (ie. too big)
