Gday I just wanted to know peoples opinion on DC Training, i have done a lot of reasearch on ot and it seems like a great program to get continuous strength and muscle gains.
I have incorperated some of the extreme stretches in my w/o's in the past and have recovered better because of it.
I am just wondering is this program for me, i have heard somewhere that it is not really recommended for teenagers but i have never heard Dante say this in any article.

How far have you progressed so far in your training. I'm gathering your new.

What can you squat, press, pull?

Hey Shrek, Thanks for the link back on DC training. I must admit I had never heard of it before. I have made some changes to my training now (starting today) & kinda feel newly inspired. I am to compete again in 8 weeks & was starting to think that I was being delusional about the whole thing. I am a Physique girl, so I need to gain muscle not just sculpt/tone (sorry of offend any Figure girls).
Although the DC stretching sounds scary, yet challenging.

Welcome Chussen! are you competing in the INBA NSW in Sept??

I would love to compete in a couple of years time (only just started weight training). You should post a separate thread about your comp prep - I'm sure a lot of us would find it fascinating :)

Yeh Katie, that's my goal. I haven't registered for it yet as I leaned out too far in my last comp & lost a lot of muscle & confidence with it.
Attempting to grow back fast as I can & with it get the guts to order that bikini, etc:rolleyes:

Good stuff Chussen :) I follow a lot of figure/physique competitors blogs and I find it fascinating! You could start a training log here too if you like - to keep you on track!

Great lifts. Now you can start to split your training. Once lifters get to those weights, a split can be beneficial, as long as your still using basic compound movements.

Your journal indicates the weights you posted above are not accurate.

In your journal it says you squat 100 x 8. I wasnt asking what you squat 1/2 way, a squat is simply a squat.

Your deadlift numbers are a little out as well.

anyway, keep it up, you seem plenty strong. Where are you from???????????
